Fantastic letter! I can wholeheartedly relate to your frustration. It seems that, just as you had attempted to motivate AT&T at the end of your letter, I too try to motivate them to do better over the phone. In all actuality, after complimenting an AT&T Cellular customer service representative over the phone the other day, I was awarded 1000 bonus minutes. I do hope they get better. I don't want to move away from my lovely iPhone.

What a waste. If you don't buy the warranty of your phone, no matter what happens to it, AT&T will not replace or fix it. So why the hell would they care about liability when advising you to another repair shop?

Cellphone company's can't do math. They'd rather a customer who has a year in a half left on their plan, cancel it for $175, instead of just giving them the customer service they deserve. They are in turn missing out on an additional $3k that the customer would have paid them during the contract.

AT&T certainly has been shooting themselves in the foot lately. Everyday I hear someone complaining about their service. One of the main reasons I haven't sucked it up and bought an iphone is because i'm weary about CS issues with their company. I'd rather wait until Apple breaks that contract and starts going with all of the cellphone carriers.

It also blows my mind how few options for Internet Service we have in Orlando. Unfortunately, both AT&T and Brighthouse suck at customer service but we are forced to use one or the other. It's a GD shame that companies are willing to lose quality over quantity. Both should be put out of business.
